Porlock Horse Show
Welcome back! After 2 years we are very pleased to be able to hold the show again & look forward to seeing everyone.

Set in fantastic surroundings, Porlock Horse Show is a traditional country show with horse and pony classes, Exmoor Horn sheep classes, a dog show, a stagshorn show and competition, and much more! There is something for all the family to enjoy, whether competing or spectating.

The show is held annually on the last Sunday of July at West Luccombe Farm. This show has a wonderful friendly atmosphere, with proceeds going to benefit local charities. The horse and pony classes include showing, both ridden and in-hand, jumping, including clear round jumping, fancy dress, Exmoor and mountain and moorland classes. There is also a gymkhana held in the afternoon. In the dog show there are classes for terriers, lurchers, and doodles, a companion dog show and novelty classes. The competition and show of stags horns always draws a crowd of interested onlookers, with judging commencing at 2pm.  The Exmoor Horn sheep classes add another attraction to the show.

There is a refreshment tent and bar (licence applied for), side shows, and a raffle. During the afternoon there will be a parade of hounds in the main ring. If you are planning to stay in the area to come to the show, you can find accommodation at Porlock Visitor Centre (www.porlock.co.uk), where the very friendly ladies will be delighted to help you! For further information about classes, please see the schedules.
